Gorgeous hardy gardenia just arrived in excellent condition and covered with buds! Cannot wait to see and smell those heavenly blossoms this spring/summer! I’ve been dying to grow gardenias, but live in NY on LI. I was so happy to see a cold hardy plant offered and the icing on the cake was it was on sale.! I got a larger than I expected, lovely gardenia. It was packed well, but the shipper must have tossed it around so much that it was up rooted when delivered. I got good advice from the Wilson Brothers experts and I see new growth starting. So far, so vibrant! I am new to planting – planted a gardenia last year that was wonderful during the summer but didn’t make it during the winter. My bad – so this year, I looked for frost-proof gardenia and Wilson Bros. delivered! Plant was in great shape when it arrived and has been growing happily. No flowers yet, but that’s normal in these parts. I’m very, very happy with Wilson Bros and glad google & google reviews alerted me to them! The gardenia that I ordered arrived very healthy and free of damage. The packaging was pretty easy to remove. The only issue is that i live in a colder climate and cannot plant the bush yet. It would have been great to have the bush arrive close to the planting date for my area. I did not upfront that the bush would be shipped immediately. The plant is continuing to look healthy, even though it is in my house. I would recommend purchasing items from Wilson Bros. to my friends. Very well packaged, surprisingly good sized and apparently healthy, in spite of the heat we’ve had in the last couple of weeks. I’ve seen other nurseries from the area but they did not have free shipping so, quite pleased. With the horror videos about failures from shippers, I had some trepidation. I bought this as a gift for my mom. Lots of sites didn’t have gardenias or they were very expensive. Wilson Bros had nice selection with good prices!
