Description
When it comes to attracting butterflies and hummingbirds, it doesn’t get much better than butterfly bushes, and the abundant clusters of fragrant, bright purple flowers of the RoyalRazz Butterfly Bush will attract and feed these winged friends from spring through mid fall. A mid-sized butterfly bush, Royal Razz has grown to about 5 to 6 feet tall and wide in our gardens, putting it at about two-thirds the size of its taller growing cousins. As with all butterfly bush, this one is drought tolerant when established and deer and rabbits turn their nose up to it. Excellent in sunny flowering shrub and perennial borders or as an accent in home foundation plantings.

Growing Preferences
RoyalRazz Butterfly Bush is exceptionally easy to grow. It thrives in full to mostly sun and isn’t too picky about soil type, provided the soil is well-drained and of average fertility. At least 6 hours of direct sun per day is recommended for best flowering. As with so many other plants, constantly soggy or wet soils can cause problems with the roots.
