My Sunshine Ligustrums arrived 4 days ago. They were packed very carefully, with no slipping in the box as they were held down with cardboard corner grips. Beautiful!!!!

I am an avid gardener, former licensed certified Texas nurseryman, and have ordered from various online sellers in the past. I have to say that every single order I have received from Wilson Bros Gardens, has been a refreshing surprise upon receipt. The plants arrive in excellent condition, but more importantly, I can actually see them! What I mean by that is when ordering from your competition, I sometimes feel as if I need to grab a microscope to see the plant material. Obviously, this is a bit of sarcasm, but in all seriousness, your plants are what someone would actually see if they bought from a local nursery. The size of the plant matches the size of the container. They are not little slips or tender twigs but are ready to go into the ground and be seen in the landscape design.

Wow. As a returning customer, I found these plants to be the most beautiful yellow color that literally knock your socks off. Again, these were packaged to protect and arrived in perfect condition. We immediately planted these as a border next to our driveway. They are nestled alongside more mature rhododendrons and evergreens. They are growing and thriving. I ordered a couple of these (along with some more Wintergreen Boxwood) looking to add more evergreens to our yard. Despite long delays with shipping (not through any fault of Wilson Bros.), these plants arrived in very good condition. Kept them watered – almost daily due to the heat – until our temps lowered enough to plant. My wife saw these plants in a magazine and knew she had to have them. Here in Florida the sun can be brutal on landscape plants, so she was wanting something that could take the heat.
We had never heard of Wilsonbrosgardens but found them by Googling the name Sunshine Ligustrum. We decided to take a chance after being unable to locate any plants locally and ordered two plants. We figured if they didn’t meet our expectations we weren’t out much.
We were very surprised and elated at the condition of the plants upon arrival. This was due to them being high quality plants, but also to the incredible packing job done at the nursery. They arrived in perfect condition, barely a few pieces of dirt had fallen out of the pots! Now that’s how you ship a plant!
We planted our two plants in post for the time being, wanting to let them grow some before planting them in a bed. We are keeping them watered and they have already put on a lot of new growth. I imagine come next Spring the color will be much more brilliant.
I tried hard to find a legitimate reason not to give my order 5 stars but couldn’t. Couldn’t decide to go straight with 8 of the yellow or in serpentine style. Either way would have been great. They started growing the moment I put them in. Very nice plants that arrived quickly. I bought these to make a low curved hedge similiar to the one in the picture on the website. Very yellow in color and I hope I can keep them trimmed as a hedge at under 18 inches like advertised. They have turned a burnt orange color since winter set it. I called to make sure the plants weren’t dying and was told that this is the normal winter color for this ligustrum. It’s not a great color but not bad. The yellow color the rest of the year will make up for it. This is the brightest yellow plant in my yard! Overall I am pleased with the plants and the very friendly and professional service.

All 5 arrived in good shape and on time. Very happy to be able to find this plant.
