Thriller Lady’s Mantle (Alchemilla Mollis) – 5 Pack Of Quart Pots

A hardy and long-lived perennial plant adored for both its attractive and unique foliage and flowers, Alchemilla mollis ‘Thriller’, commonly known as Lady’s Mantle, has larger leaves and blooms heavier than the species. It forms a mound of pleated, soft, light green to mint green 7 to 8 inch diameter leaves with 9 to 11 shallow lobes. In late spring or early summer the foliage mound become covered with clusters of tiny, star-shaped chartreuse color flowers. Also very interesting and unusual is how after a rain the leaves retain moisture beads that sparkle like jewels!

The flowers of Lady’s Mantle can be cut at the peak of bloom and hung up to dry in a dark room for future use in dried flower arrangements.

Thriller lady’s Mantle is very easy to grow in most any average, consistently moist to moist but well-drained soil in full shade to part shade. That said, in hot climates it will appreciate shade or filtered sun in the afternoon. We think it looks best with some shade.
