I ordered 3 one gallon plants — they came in a reasonable amount of time, packaged perfectly and ready to go. I was so excited about this new ornamental grass that I put it in the ground the day they arrived. Now three or four times a day I look outside waiting for the first blooms. Shipment arrived early, securely boxed in containers and trimmed to fit. Plants appear vigorous and slightly pot bound, waiting to be root-loosened and either potted up or planted. Potted clumps are stocky and turgid, seem to be very high quality. Based on this initial experience, I’m placing two additional orders for other grasses.———————————————Thanks for the great review! Bought six total lorepetalum and one was out of the dirt mix from shipping. Babied it but it died. Five are doing good. Next bought two Pampas Grass. Arrived perfect and still moist in the pots. Both orders came across country as I live on the opposite coast. Shipping took a week longer than specified as I think the plants have to be inspected by the shipping service. The Pampas Grass was beautiful and healthy, very well packed. Before I found this site I ordered 2 from a home improvement store, they were in poor shape when I received them, 1 of them did not make it. It arrived in great shape and has taken a cherished position in my landscape. 27 years ago, when I bought our present home, the first plant we planted was Pampas Grass. Early the next year my wife weeded it! I was in shock. Being a country boy, I was taught the difference between weeds and plants. My wife, being a city girl, wasn’t. I’m so glad I came across Wilson Bros Gardens website. There was a wooded lot across from our house that was recently cut down for timber, and the mess left behind is less than ideal. So we decided to plant so bushes across the front of our yard to block the carnage. 8 Pampas grass and 2 Loropetalum plants later (along with 2 existing loropetalums) we are well on our way back to aesthetically pleasing views.
The plants I ordered were well priced, well packed, and arrived quickly. My previous experiences with other mail order plant companies haven’t been nearly as pleasing.

I had to wait several weeks before planting, and the grass had already started sending out nice long strands by the time they got in the ground. I purchased three of the pampas grass in 1 gallon size and they were 3 feet tall! Even the 3 gallons I saw for much more $$$ at Home Depot were not as large. I am very happy and will do more business with your company. Best nursery I’ve found yet on the internet.
